Obama said on the campaign trail that the politics of fear must – and would – end.
But in order to sell his stimulus package, he has been predicting all sorts of superlative dire scenarios if the bill is not passed.
Such as this gem: “If Congress does not pass the stimulus bill, every American citizen will starve to death.”
Somebody explain to me how this is different from Bush’s rhetoric that justified extreme counter-terrorism measures?
I hear that college-aged and other young, educated voters favor Obama, while Hillary’s gotten support from high school educated, blue-collar voters.
In Indiana, that means Clinton got the cutter vote.
Obama doesn’t get support from the townies. The IU frat guys in Bloomington support him.
Geez, it sucks to be on the same side as those pricks who picked on Moocher.
